Overview

Video Compressor does not require an account system. The app is designed so that selected videos are processed on-device for compression and export workflows. Eclectic Byte does not claim ownership of your videos.

Information We Handle

• Support contact details and the contents of messages you send to support.
• Purchase, subscription, and entitlement status needed to unlock premium features.
• Basic diagnostic or operational data required by the app platform, payment platform, or analytics-free app operations.

How Information Is Used

• To provide, maintain, and improve Video Compressor.
• To validate premium access, restore purchases, and support subscription management flows.
• To respond to support requests and operational issues.
• To protect the product against misuse, abuse, or security incidents.

Photos and Video Access

The app may request access to your Photos library or selected videos so you can choose media to compress and export. That access is used only to provide the requested workflow inside the app.

Local Processing

Video processing is intended to happen locally on your device as part of the compression and export workflow. Temporary files created by the app may remain on-device only as long as needed to complete the requested action or until you remove them.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Paid subscriptions are offered through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscription status, purchase history needed for restoration, and premium entitlement checks may also be processed through RevenueCat as the subscription infrastructure provider.

Third-Party Services

Video Compressor may rely on Apple services for purchases, subscription management, and app distribution, and on RevenueCat for subscription entitlement validation and restoration support. Those providers process relevant information according to their own privacy terms.

Data Retention

Support messages, purchase-related support records, and other limited operational records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, process refunds or restoration issues, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Your Rights
